Just twenty metres from the cottage, you'll find miles of golden sandy beach, ideal for a leisurely stroll. The back beach is renowned for surfing. Surfing, diving, boating equipment and lessons are available at very competitive rates - Jamie Knox Watersports. There are also plenty of beautiful rivers for anyone keen on fishing.
West Kerry is home to some of the best cycling routes in Ireland. The Connor Pass is only 10 miles west and leads on to the beautiful Slea Head Drive. Or why not head 10 miles east to Camp to test yourself on Bóthar na gCloch?
There is a great selection of mountains to choose from locally. Mount Brandon is within a 30 minute drive. Beenoskee is only 10 minutes up the road, and Caherconree is just 15 minutes away in Camp. Carrauntoohil is just an hour away.

Castlegregory Golf Course is located within 4 miles. Castlegregory is a superb links golf course situated between the scenic Lough Gill and Brandon Bay, at Stradbally. The magical colours of Mount Brandon act as a magnificent backdrop to this 5876 yard, par 68, nine-hole course. The tranquil setting, combined with the excellent use of natural features, ensures that Castlegregory provides golfers with an enjoyable but testing challenge.
